This year the local ANZAC Day march down Summer Street to the ANZAC service in Robertson Park will be held the last Thursday of the school holidays.

Our school is planned to be fourth in line for the march, after the high schools, and we invite all students to attend. Anzac Day is on Thursday 25 April, our Staff Development Day for Term 2 is on Monday 29 April and students will return to school for Term 2 on Tuesday 30 April.

The ANZAC Day March assembly point for students is in Sale Street near the Summer Street intersection from 10am (outside Neweys Dry Cleaners). Orange Public School teachers will be in attendance and will assist in assembling the children at 10am for an approximate start time of 10.25am.

Parents are required to collect their children from Robertson Park (Parkview Hotel side) as soon as the march has finished. Please do not ask your children to 'meet you' at another location, as teachers will keep them altogether as a group until collected.

All OPS students are required to wear FULL WINTER uniform if available to take part in the march.
